Community Investment Campaign
Great Hearts Texas EIN: 43-1973126
Why does Great Hearts ask parents to consider a donation to the annual Community Investment campaign?
The Community Investment campaign provides our faculty and students with the resources they need to learn and thrive. Unlike traditional public schools, charter schools do not receive local taxes for school facilities, resulting in large gaps in revenue between charter schools and local school districts.
Your gift to Community Investment:
-
- Allows us to offer our students a top-tier, private school education in a public school setting.
- Supports our excellent and dedicated faculty and staff, including school nurses, apprentice teachers, campus police officers, and housekeeping and facilities staff.
- Keeps our class sizes smaller for more individualized attention.
- Enables us to offer programs like art, music, and foreign language on a daily basis.
How can I participate?
We ask each family to thoughtfully consider contributing $125 per month or $1,500 per student to help cover the gap, but we know each family’s situation is unique. We encourage families to give as they are able. Every family’s participation, at any level, is vital to supporting our teachers and students and the educational priorities of our academy.
-
- Donate online.
- Complete our Community Investment campaign giving form, and return it to the school.
- Donations by cash, check, or stock are also ways you can give. Reach out to Holly Weese, Director of Community Engagement and Academy Giving, for more information or to coordinate a gift.
When you give, 100% of your contribution stays at Great Hearts Forest Heights to support the core priorities of our academic model.
